I believe that the opposite is true. You will have fun when you are at ease, focused and\u00a0enjoying what you are doing.<\/p>\n<p><b>How then do you have fun?<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Children have fun when they are totally engrossed in what they are doing. That is why they can watch the same cartoon over and over, enjoying it the same every time. They can play the same game a multitude of times, enjoying it\u00a0every time. There is no judgment. There is no criticism. There is no analyzing. They just enjoy being a part of it.<\/p>\n<p>Golfers on the other hand, make work out of what is supposed to be their play. Golfers can make golf a game of frustration, aggravation, humility, fear, worry, anxiety and other self-defeating emotions. Where is the fun in that?<\/p>\n<p><b>Change your thinking and you change your game<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stop thinking about the could\u2019ve,\u00a0would\u2019ve, should\u2019ve possibilities. Stop thinking about what could go wrong,\u00a0or what could have happened, if only you had done something different. Focus\u00a0only on hitting the present shot and having fun doing it.<\/li>\n<li>Stop thinking about the part of your\u00a0swing that you are trying to correct. Enjoy finding the rhythm and tempo\u00a0of your whole swing.<\/li>\n<li>Relax and focus on having fun. Enjoy\u00a0the course as if it is a board game, playing one shot at a time, constantly\u00a0moving forward to the hole.<\/li>\n<li>Remember what it is you like about the\u00a0game of golf.<\/li>\n<li>Let go of trying to perform well for\u00a0your playing partners.
